About me
Hello, my name is Kaz and thank you for visiting my website. I provide manual driving lessons in Farnham, Farnborough, Camberley, Fleet and surrounding areas.
I am currently on a trainee licence sponsored by LDC driving school and under supervision of my LDC trainer Tony Bowman.
I have a lifelong passion for teaching, coaching, and helping people gain confidence in new skills. My background includes working as a Teacher of PSHE, Form Tutor as well as a Cover Teacher at a local secondary school where I’ve supported students with diverse learning needs - helping them develop independence and resilience; and I have a natural ability to connect with neuro-diverse learners.
This experience has strengthened my ability to communicate clearly, adapt to different learning styles, and create a calm and encouraging environment for everyone - all of which are essential for learning to drive.
My coaching journey started long before I began teaching behind the wheel. Since I was a teenager, I’ve been actively involved in training and mentoring, from teaching swimming, leading Cubs & Scouts, to delivering first aid training, rescue diving and developing leadership skills in others. I love helping people - no matter whether they're 7, 17 or 70 - I love to build confidence, step outside their comfort zones and achieve their goals - whether that’s on the road, in the classroom or in/under the water.
I am a fun, enthusiastic, caring, kind and loyal person who has a wide variety of hobbies and loves such as:
travel, photography - pets, landscapes and people, professional artist, a keen open water swimmer, a Rescue PADI Diver, Hair & Makeup Artist, I love a good Music Festival and have volunteered at Glastonbury for over 10 years and I am attempting to be a Singer Song writer (I cant read music!).
Some additional qualifications are:
Level 3 in Education
Level 2 in Understanding Autism
Level 2 in Behaviour that Challenges
First Aid certificate
Mental Health First Aid
I am a proud ally of the LGBTQ+ community, a member of the DIA (Driving Instructor Association) and DITC (Driving Instructor and Training Initiative).
Lessons will be conducted in a calm and friendly environment and we will learn at your desired pace, I offer 2 hour lessons to ensure my learners have enough time to practice, absorb feedback, build confidence and progress quicker.
